The North American Sabreliner is an American medium business jet.
It was developed in response to the United States Air Force's tender for its Utility Trainer Experimental (UTX) programme.
Military variants, designated T-39 Sabreliner, were operated by the USAF, the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps.
The USAF put the aircraft into service in 1959.
A civilian variant of the Sabreliner was also developed. .
