Schnellboot S100 - Special Edition

A very nice kit with high quality moulding. I believe it is still the world's largest kit in the 1/35 scale.\n\nThe kit has a little booklet that contains a short history S-100 Schnellboot type. The booklet has some truly excellent color pictures to assist assembly and painting camouflage.\n\nFurthermore, the kit also has photoetched frets that include over 50 pieces on a large brass sheet which comes packed in a separate box along with the instructions, decals and the clear sheet. \n\nMy kit was a Special Edition and because of that it included S-100 Schnellboot crew too.\n\nI can warmly recommend this kit; it is really awesome and impressive kit, but as a small warning, it is also a very big kit; the model itself is 99,9cm long - this is roughly one meter - and the box dimensions are 103 x 37 x 15cm.

Für mich das momentan beste Modell eines S-100 - und das im gängigen Militärmodellbaumaßstab. Hier braucht man wirklich Platz auf seinem Basteltisch. Die Detailierung ist ausreichend und kann vom Profi sicherlich noch erheblich verbessert werden. Aber auch "out of the box" macht das S-100 eine gute Figur. Dazu kann ich nur den ebenfalls von Italerie zu beziehenden passenden Figurensatz empfehlen.

Ein schönes, großes Modell :) Mit Liebe ist auch einiges mehr an Details rauszuholen. Negativ waren bei mir nur zwei Dinge. 1) Schrauben waren lose verteilt in Schachtel. Nette Suchaktion war angesagt. 2) Plastikteil an Rumpfteil war abgebrochen. Was aber mehr auf Verpackungsschaden seitens Italeri schließen läßt. Ein Leckerli für Zwischendurch. Ein Hingucker für das Regal. Geringer Bauaufwand.
