The Falklands War was a three-month conflict between Britain and Argentina that began in March 1982 over possession of the Falkland Islands in the Atlantic Ocean.
This war was the first conflict between Western armies since World War II, and was a highly mechanised military clash.
The Harrier GR.3 is a Harrier GR.1 with an integrated laser sensor added and a Pegasus Mk.103 engine.
The Sea Harrier FRS.1 is a carrier-based fighter based on the Harrier GR.3. Both the Harrier GR.3 and the Sea Harrier FRS.1 were used in the Falklands War.
