The Cessna O-2A Skymaster is a twin-engine military aircraft. The versatility of the O-2A gives it capabilities normally reserved for larger and more expensive aircraft that were not primarily designed as observation aircraft.
The full designation of the standard version of this aircraft, of which a total of 501 were delivered to the US Air Force and 12 to the Iranian Air Force in early 1970, was O-2A.
