A universal and impressive 1:72 scale plastic model aircraft base that accurately reproduces a section of the deck of an escort aircraft carrier.
Fits all basic historical types of US escort aircraft carriers of WWII, which were also massively used by Britain in the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean and Arctic convoys.
The set includes a link to a free download of the file for self-printing the accessories on a 3D printer: arresting cable mounts, various versions of chocks, a bomb carriage.

The deck of a typical escort carrier looked the same for all main types: it was covered with solid planks separated by distinctive metal strips with hooks for anchoring aircraft.
The planks were usually painted in camouflage colors depending on the time and country in which the ship was used.
Intensive use and weathering meant that the deck colours varied greatly, providing excellent opportunities for the modeler wanting to show off their weathering skills.
