Plastic model kit of two WWI fighter planes. The pace of aviation development during World War I was nothing short of astonishing: in less than twelve months, aircraft transformed from weak, unarmed observation platforms to deadly rulers of the skies. The year 1917 would prove to be a significant one for the air war over the trenches of the Western Front, as the British introduced their powerful Bristol F.2B Fighter, a true multi-role aircraft, and the Germans introduced their Fokker DR.1, an aircraft powered by the fearsome Manfred von Richthofen would become famous. A period of relentless dogfights began in which both sides fought for dominance in the air. Total 57 pieces.
