During World War II, the C47s became the backbone of Allied transport aviation.
After the Second World War, the C47 served as a supply aircraft for the Berlin Airlift and launched missions in the Arctic Circle.
During the Vietnam War, C47s were used as gunships, earning them the nickname “Puff the Magic Dragon.”
