In early 1945, designer Thieme began work on the Ae 607 drawing under the standard drawing numbering system at B&V.
His design for the fighter was radically different from anything B&V had done before.
The flying wing approached the 45° delta shape.
Reports of its existence were not confirmed until 2017 when the drawing was published.
The undercarriage includes outward-retracting main wheels and two rear wheels retractable on either side of the pitot tube.
