The basis was the Caproni Ca.310 Libeccio.
The Regia Aeronautica (Italian Air Force) used the Ca.313 for light bombing, aerial observation and reconnaissance flights during World War II.
The engines were two 12-cylinder Isotta Fraschini Delta RC 35, which produced 730 hp and could accelerate the aircraft to up to 430 km/h.
The engines had three-bladed metal propellers with adjustable pitch.
The Ca.314 version was modified for use as a ground attack aircraft, maritime patrol aircraft, convoy escort and torpedo bomber.
The "Caproni" was used in various areas in the Mediterranean and North Africa. They were also used by the Swedish Air Force and the German Air Force.
