The AS6 Envoy took off for the first time in June 1934. The aircraft was built entirely of wood. The canvas covering was reinforced with aviation plywood in exposed areas. The wingspan of these machines was 15.94 meters and the length of the fuselage was 10.53 meters. With a maximum take-off weight of 2860 kg and a cruising speed of 265 km/h (max. 300 km/h), which was high for the time, the range with six passengers was up to 1020 km.
