Junkers Ju 87 G-2 "The Last Flight"

The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was the standard ground attack aircraft and dive bomber of the German Luftwaffe at the beginning of the Second World War.
Despite its mediocre properties, it gained considerable fame for the psychological effect it had on the population and enemy forces.
There has never been such a massive use of aircraft.
The Stukas' success in the first phase of the war rested on the complete air superiority guaranteed by the Luftwaffe's fighters, which enabled the Stukas to operate without interference from enemy aircraft.
During the Battle of Britain, the myth of the JU-87 was re-sized due to the superiority of British fighter aircraft.
Nevertheless, the Stukas operated from the African theater to Russia until the end of the war.
