"Blue bird on a long flight" Aero Ab-11
SH72471
Special Hobby
1:72
The Aero A-11 was one of the best aircraft produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s.
It was no wonder that the crew of Stabni Kapitan (Sqn/L) Stanovsky and his mechanic Simek chose this type for their long-range flight over Europe, North Africa and the Middle East in May and June 1926.
Because of its striking colour, their aircraft was aptly named the "Blue Bird".
