Boeing KC-97L Stratofreighter USAF

The KC-97L Stratofreighter was an aerial refueling aircraft of the U.S. Air Force during the Cold War.
It was a derivative of the Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter and featured extended wings and improved engines to support its role as a tanker aircraft.
With the ability to refuel multiple aircraft simultaneously, including strategic bombers such as the B-52, the KC-97L played a critical role in extending the operational reach of American air forces worldwide.
Its robust design and adaptability made it a cornerstone of aerial refueling operations and contributed significantly to strategic deterrence during its service from the 1950s through the 1970s.
