The Dassault Mirage III is a milestone in French aviation production.
Manufactured from the early 1960s to equip the units of the Armée de l'Air, it immediately proved extremely effective.
It quickly became a commercial success and was exported to numerous countries, where it took part in various conflicts in the 1970s and 1980s.
Characterized by its distinctive delta wing, it was capable of exceeding Mach 2 thanks to its Snecma Atar engine with afterburner.
The Mirage IIIC was optimized for the role of interceptor.
