Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor - MODEL SET 1:72

The Lockheed Martin-Boeing F-22 is a 5th generation stealth fighter aircraft of the USAF.
Highly innovative in concept and design, the "Raptor" is equipped with two Pratt & Whitney F119 turbofan engines, whose afterburners can generate vector thrust via the exhaust nozzles.
The "stealth" capability is achieved through the aerodynamic profile and the use of "high-tech" materials that minimize detectability by radar. The stealth capability is also supported by a detailed design of the air intakes and exhaust pipes to reduce the heat generated by the exhaust gases and noise emissions.
The air-to-air and air-to-ground weapon systems are installed in cargo bays in the fuselage to further minimize radar detection.
The aircraft's avionics are extremely advanced and are able to detect, track and acquire targets even at great distances.
