The Focke-Wulf Ta 152 was a fighter aircraft of the German Air Force in World War II. It was the successor to the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 D, equipped with a V-engine, and reached speeds of over 750 km/h. This made it one of the fastest propeller aircraft of the time. The H version was used as a high-altitude fighter and therefore had stretched wings, water-methanol and, for short-term performance increases, nitrous oxide injection. Due to its late introduction and the small number of aircraft that went to the troops, the Ta 152 had no influence on the outcome of the war.
