The Supermarine Spitfire was a British single-seat propeller-driven fighter aircraft used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied countries before, during and after World War II.
The infamous V-1 flying bomb was developed and used for terrorist attacks on London and the United Kingdom.
When the Allies invaded France, the missiles were also aimed at Antwerp, Liège and Brussels, both from land-based launching pads and aircraft.
