The Messerschmitt Bf 109 E was the Luftwaffe's most important fighter aircraft at the beginning of the Second World War.
This kit shows the E-4, which was manufactured from May 1940 and saw extensive action during the Battle of Britain, or the E-7, which was equipped with a drop tank to increase range.
A tropical version with a sand filter was used in the skies over North Africa.
