The Messerschmitt Me 410, nicknamed Hornisse ("hornet"), was a German heavy fighter and fighter-bomber used by the Luftwaffe during World War II.
It was developed from the Me 210 and equipped with a more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 603A engine, which significantly improved its flight performance.
The Me410B-2/U4 was equipped with a 50 mm BK5 cannon, which significantly improved its combat capabilities.
As a result, it was also called the "bomber destroyer".
