The SAAB AJS-37 Viggen was an aircraft that was ahead of its time.
Its designers used an unorthodox design that allowed the aircraft to meet all the requirements placed on it and even exceed them in some parameters.
The Swedish Air Force ordered several different versions of the jet fighter.
The very first version in service was the AJ-37 fighter, which was later upgraded to the ASJ-37 standard.
One of these modernized machines received a special red anniversary livery and was also decorated with "Show Must Go On" inscriptions and ghost cartoons.
