The BAE Systems Hawk is a British single-engine, jet-powered advanced trainer aircraft. It was first flown in 1974 at Dunsfold, Surrey as the Hawker Siddeley Hawk and was subsequently produced by its successor companies British Aerospace and BAE Systems.
It was used in training capacities and as a low-cost combat aircraft.
The Republic of Korea Air Force introduced 20 T-59s (Hawk 67) in September 1992 at the 216th Flight Training Squadron at Yecheon.
They were decommissioned in 2013.
