The Northrop N-3PBs were used for quite a long time by No. 330 (Norwegian) Squadron based in Iceland.
Initially the aircraft flew with the early RAF cockades and with fuselage numbers instead of the squadron codes that were introduced later.
In 1942 a new style of RAF markings was introduced and replaced the older ones on the N-3PB aircraft as well, and the colour of the fuselage codes was also changed.
