The Bf 109 G represents the logical evolution of the earlier F version of the famous German fighter aircraft that dominated the skies at the start of World War II.
The aircraft was equipped with a more powerful engine to increase speed and altitude.
Some aircraft were also equipped with increased firepower to combat large Allied bombers.
By the end of 1943, the BF-109 G was the backbone of the Luftwaffe and was used in all operational areas, where it was able to successfully keep up with the Allied Air Force until the end of the conflict.
