The DFS Kranich is a German glider. It was developed by the German Research Institute for Gliding (DFS).
The Kranich was mass-produced in the aircraft department of Karl Schweyer AG in Mannheim.
The two-seater, version 2, was the most-built two-seater glider in Germany from 1935 to 1939.
Several hundred units were built; exact numbers are not known.
