The Do 27 is one of the most successful German aircraft developments of the post-war period: a distinctive, robust and extremely versatile machine. Built by Dornier from 1956, it was the first aircraft to be mass-produced in Germany after the war. The short take-off and landing machine also flew in the Bundeswehr for decades.
