The Junkers Ju-87 - better known as »Stuka« (for dive fighter aircraft) - is probably one of the most famous machines of the Second World War and is still the most successful model of this type. The machine with the unmistakable gull wing and the characteristic dive siren was used during the entire war and in almost all theaters of war and was particularly effective in the first few years of operation. Almost 6,000 aircraft left Junkers production by 1944. This volume, with its countless details and contemporary photos, is undoubtedly the best book on the Stuka currently.
