Blueprint for US Armored Personnel Carriers in the Cold War
Limited Edition: 999 copies
In the final phase of World War Two and in the immediate post-war years the US Army wanted to replace their half-track vehicle fleet with a more modern and better armoured design. Soon a vehicle family would enter the stage that would dominate mechanized infantry during the entire Cold War era: the full-tracked armored personnel carrier.
This publication tells for the very first time as a monograph the story of the M75 and M59 armored personnel carriers (nicknamed "boxes on tracks" due to their appearance) with exercise photos in service with the US Army and with lavishly illustrated technical walkarounds.
