The M4 Sherman, officially Medium Tank, M4, was the most widely used medium tank of the United States and the Western Allies in World War II.
The M4 Sherman proved to be reliable, relatively cheap to manufacture and available in large numbers.
The M4A3 was equipped with a Ford V8 GAA engine with 450, later 500 hp. The rolled steel hull had a slightly modified rear.
