Dedicated one-man business
In 2000 the company ATAK Model was founded by Waldemar Okrzeja in Warsaw.
He first specialized in Resin accessories and conversions in scales from 1/35, 1/48, 1/72 to 1/16. Today this company is still a classic one-man operation, where a lot of heart and dedication is put into the work.
Success through unique Zimmerit imitation
In the meantime, ATAK has made an international name for itself with its realistic Zimmerit imitations. These products that are unique in this form.
Zimmerit - this concrete-like, non-magnetic mixture - was applied to tanks during World War II in a rough texture to prevent magnetic mines from taking hold. This is why the typical surface structure for Zimmerit-coated tanks was created.
With ATAK to the model highlight
With his accurately crafted Resin plates which additionally consider all vehicle-specific features, Waldemar Okrzeja and his company ATAK Model have truly developed a special high-quality product.
The modeler's work is made immensely easier with these accessories, because the typical Zimmerit coating can otherwise only be imitated very laboriously by hand on the model.
