In 2008 Daniel Buchtela founded the company Model Scene in Prague (Czech Republic). He produces high-quality modeling accessories for diorama building. Production still by hand
On approx. 500m2 this Czech company employs 6 people to produce the popular diorama accessories.
Many things are still made by hand like filigree trees in different scales or grass mats and they are proud of this quality.
Model Scene produces lifelike plants by laser cutting with which you can perfectly enhance your diorama.
Realistic plants
Model Scene is a full-range supplier in diorama construction. They have already developed over 700 products especially for use in model making including trees, flowers, grass flock, grass mats, fences, houses and other useful diorama accessories.
An interest in model making from an early age
Like many model builders, company founder Daniel Buchtela started model building as a child. He initially worked as a salesman in the food industry until he founded Model Scene in 2008 and turning his hobby into a profession.
Even today he likes to devote his limited free time to 1/160 scale railroad modeling.
