In 1944 Luftwaffe adopted several new colours - RLM 83 was most probably a replacement of RLM 74 in previous RLM 74+75/76 scheme, as simplified RLM 75/76 proved not effective against air attacks. It was officially used till August 1944.
- HTK-C007 - Grey-Violet (RLM75) - Used from early 1941 for upper surfaces in RLM 74+75/76 scheme. From the first half of 1944 used in RLM 83+75/76 pattern
- HTK-C022 - Dark Green (RLM83) - Introduced in the first half of 1944 as a replacement of RLM 74 and used in RLM 83+75/76 pattern officially applied till August 1944
- HTK-C038 - Light Blue (RLM76) - Used from early 1941 for lower surfaces and fuselage sides in several mid and late war Luftwaffe patterns, including RLM 83+75/76 used in early 1944
