Polish State Railways (PKP) from mid-1960s till early 2000s painted majority of its locomotives (diesel and electric), including ET21 "Telewizor", ST43 "Rumun", ET22 "Byk", EU06 "Anglik", EU07 / EP07 "Siódemka" and ET41 "Bolek & Lolek" in dark green / mint green livery. During 1960s-1980s significant differences between colours of particular locs existed, enhanced by paint tendency to weather rapidly due to low quality. Nowadays Moss Green and Light Green (the latter with strong fading tendency towards Pastel Green) are regarded as the most accurate colours for that period. From 1988 till 2002 front sections of all locomotives were painted in yellow.
HTK-AS42 includes colours for painting of Polish locomotives from mid-1960s till early 2000s. The set contains:
HTK-A701 – Blue Grey (RAL 7031) – Standard colour of roofs of Polish Railways locomotives (diesel and electric) of "epochs IV and Va"
HTK-A709 - Light Green (RAL 6027) – Standard colour of upper (window level) and lower part of body of Polish Railways locomotives of "epochs IV and Va"
HTK-A708 – Moss Green (RAL 6005) – Standard colour of middle part of body of Polish Railways locomotives (diesel and electric) of "epochs IV and Va"
HTK-A706 – Pastel Green (RAL 6019) – Alternative (faded) colour of upper and lower part of body of Polish Railways locomotives of "epochs IV and Va"
HTK-A107 – Signal Yellow (RAL 1003) – Used on front section of Polish Railways locomotives from 1988 till 1990s (as a high-visibility safety feature)
HTK-A704 – Pure Orange (RAL 2004) – Standard colour of headstocks of Polish Railways locomotives (diesel and electric) of "epochs IV and Va"
