- Applying the base color that will later appear in places (e.g. rust colors)
- Apply the chipping liquid with an airbrush or brush
- Paint with the model's main top color
- After the main colors have dried, apply a little water with the brush.
- The chipping liquid becomes soft and the main color can now be scraped off with a pointed cotton swab, wooden stick, etc. to achieve the desired effect.
