X-20A thinner 46ml acrylic
TAMIYA X-20A Acrylic Thinner is the perfect choice for thinning TAMIYA acrylic paints. The recipe is chosen so that the TAMIYA acrylic paints do not fade or become stained after the paint has been applied and dried. The thinner is also ideal for cleaning airbrush sprayers (paint cups, needles and nozzles) and brushes (with natural hair brushes, use the brush conditioner (300087181) for care after cleaning).
When processing with airbrush sprayers (depending on the nozzle used 0.25-0.50mm), a mixing ratio of 1: 2 - 1: 3 (1 part paint: 2 or 3 parts thinner) is ideal.

TAMIYA X and XF acrylic paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are ideal for painting with a brush or for application with airbrush sprayers.
These colors can be used on styrene resins, styrofoam, wood and all common model plastics. For better adhesion we recommend a previous primer (TAMIYA primer e.g. 87044 primer white / primer gray 87042) of the respective material. The paint covers well, flows smoothly, and is easy to mix. Before it hardens, the paint can be washed away with normal water.
- Colors marked with "X" have a glossy finish, while colors marked "XF" are matt.
- For processing with airbrush sprayers (depending on the nozzle used 0.25-0.50mm), the X- / XF-colors should be diluted with TAMIYA X-20A Acryl Thinner (X20A-23ML, X20A-46ML or X20A-250ML).
- The X- / XF colors can also be thinned with the TAMIYA Lacquer Thinner (87077). This enables faster drying results and a harder surface finish.
- By adding the TAMIYA Paint Retarder (87114) you will get a smoother paint surface after drying (max. Mixing ratio 1:10)
