RMS Olympic was the first Olympic class cruise ship of White Star Line, but also the sister ship of the RMS Titanic and RMS Britannic. Harland Wolff shipyard started in December 16th 1908, Olympic launched in 1910. Since 1912 the Titanic shipwreck, Olympic lessons were recalled its shipyards to build an improved structure.

In World War I, the Olympic requisitioned by the Royal Navy as a troop transport equipment and some artillery, and the appearance of painted camouflage. On May 12, 1918 during return to Southampton Olympic crossed the way of German submarine U-103. Olympic's crew opened fire. Subsequently Olympic sank the u-boat by ramming.
