The 35,000 ton battleship King George V was completed in October 1940.
She took part in the sinking of the German battleship Bismarck in May 1941 with the HMS Rodney and was active in the Pacific in the second half of the war, including shelling the Japanese home islands.
The model shows the ship as it was used in these operations against Japan, with additional radar and anti-aircraft armament
