The Jagdpanther (Sd.Kfz. 173) was a heavy tank destroyer used by Germany during the Second World War.
The Jagdpanther combined the 8.8cm Pak 43, which resembled the main gun of the Tiger II, with the chassis of the Panther main battle tank.
It entered service in 1944 and served on both the Eastern and Western Fronts.
