Bstarting with the production of the famous 911 Turbo.
Several versions of this model were produced, but one of the most famous was the Porsche 935J.
The so-called “Baby” was built to take part in the German championship for 2.0 liter engines.
Thanks to the use of an aluminum trellis frame, a lighter chassis was used for this competition. This solution allowed a total vehicle weight of 735 kg, which met the competition's weight requirements.
The car had an air-cooled 1425 engine with an output of 261 kW.
The Porsche 935J achieved an important victory at the 1977 German Grand Prix at Hockenheim, demonstrating its excellent engine performance and design features.
