The Scania 143M was a milestone for heavy transport from the late 80s to the mid 90s.
The truck, assembled at the Södertälje production plant in Sweden, was one of the most successful models of the “3 Series”, which Scania introduced in 1987 as the successor to the innovative “2 Series” of the 80s.
Especially in the 4x2 version, thanks to its flexibility and reliability, it has quickly become one of the best solutions for heavy transport tasks on the road.
Various engine configurations were adopted, including the V8 with 500 hp combined with a 16-speed gearbox.
Even today, many years after the end of production, it is still fondly remembered by drivers for its comfort and handling.
