In 1963, the renowned Italian company Alfa Romeo launched the Giulia Sprint GT, which featured a beautiful coupe body and a 1600cc four-cylinder engine.
The GTA was a high-performance model with a lightweight aluminum body and a twin-plug engine with power increased to 133 hp.
When the car appeared in 1965, it was converted for racing by Alfa Romeo's racing division Autodelta and won the European Touring Car Championship from 1966 to 1969.
