The Mc Laren MP4/2 was one of the most successful cars with the most victories in the history of Formula 1. In 1985 the MP4/2B debuted, equipped with a TAG-Porsche engine, which was supercharged by two superchargers and produced 850 hp, as well as with aerodynamic devices that were less noticeable than previous models and that complied with the new regulations. Victory in the Constructors' and Drivers' World Championships, also thanks to the exceptional talent of Alain Prost, confirmed the effectiveness of the project. In 1986 the design was further improved with the MP4/2C version and Alain Prost became world champion again in the new season. Another great Formula 1 talent, the Finnish driver Keke Rosberg, was also added. Winning three drivers' and two constructors' world championships, the McLaren MP4/2 has earned a place of honor in the hearts of Formula 1 fans and enthusiasts.
