Marketed directly to a younger audience, the Bond Bug was described as the fun car that does a serious job, and with its striking tangerine paintwork with black detailing it certainly stood out from anything else on Britain's roads.
Unfortunately, sales were not successful, despite the fact that the Bond Bug was always treated with great affection.
After a relatively short production period, the last Bug left the Tamworth factory in May 1974.
Since then, the three-wheeled wagon, which was available in any color as long as it was tangerine, has become something of a classic, and restored examples are now highly sought after.
