Australian outback truckers who travel enormous distances on bumpy and unsealed roads have to equip their trucks with special modifications. These include a huge bull bar (roo bar), a wire mesh to protect the windshield, special dust filters, additional long-range fuel tanks, heavy-duty wheels, air conditioning and a range of different driving lights. Bulk goods are usually transported in road trains, which can have up to 3 trailers with a total length of over 31 meters.
