Stug III Ausf. F/8 front plate with early one-piece hatch covers
The first vehicles of the Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.F/8 used the one-piece maintenance hatches with two hinges each for the front plate.
Only a few vehicles were produced in this configuration, unfortunately this version of the front plate was not included in the Takom plastic model kits No. 8013 and No. 8014, although the component is available as an extra sprue in the Panzer III / Sturmgeschütz III kits from Takom.
