The 2 cm Flak Vierling 38 was an anti-aircraft gun used by the Wehrmacht during World War II. Originally intended for use on ships and submarines of the Navy, it was used in all areas of the Wehrmacht, both stationary and mobile. The gun crew consisted of up to 7 soldiers. With the 4 tubes 1,800 shots per minute could be fired. In mobile use, the quadruplet was on vehicles such as the Sd.Kfz. 7 half-track or the chassis of the Panzerkampfwagen IV or was mounted behind vehicles such as the Sd.Kfz. 11 or pulled by a mule. The gun was mainly used against low-flying aircraft, but was also used in ground combat.
