The "Ordnance Quick-Firing 17-pounder" was a 76.2 mm anti-tank gun developed in the United Kingdom during World War II.
In conjunction with the APDS projectile, it was able to penetrate the armor of all German tanks of the time.
The gun was produced from 1943 and was first used in the African theater of war - here still on the carriage of the 25-pounder gun
