The Sd.Kfz. 251 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251) was a German half-track armored infantry fighting vehicle of World War II, developed by the Hanomag company based on the unarmored Sd.Kfz. 11 half-track.
The vehicle was designed to transport the Panzergrenadiers in battle.
With at least 15,252 vehicles and variants produced by seven manufacturers, the Sd.Kfz. 251 were the most widely produced German half-tracks of the war.
