The French battle tank "Leclerc" was designed according to the following three principles: mobility, firepower, protection and connectivity.
Operated by a crew of three (commander, gunner and driver), it is capable of withstanding the most intense attacks in heavy combat and attacking and engaging secured targets.
Its very compact size contributes to its safety.
The 1500 hp of its drive unit ensures high off-road mobility (average of 40 to 50 km/h) and a top speed of 70 km/h.
It has a range of 500 to 650 km thanks to its 1300 liter fuel tank and its 400 liter droppable auxiliary tanks.
