Leopard 2A6 Captured Version with T-80 Wheels

The Leopard 2 A6 is one of the Bundeswehr's current main battle tanks.
With its 1500 HP engine, 120mm smoothbore cannon and outstanding armor protection, it is state of the art.
Thanks to its innovative electronics and outstanding optics, it is one of the best main battle tanks in the world.
At the end of January 2023, the German government announced that it would provide Ukraine with 14 Leopard 2A6 main battle tanks from Bundeswehr stocks.
One of these tanks was recovered from the battlefield by Russian troops in 2024, completely burnt out.
In order to be able to exhibit this tank as a trophy at a propaganda exhibition looking reasonably intact again, the tank had to be equipped with wheels from the Russian T-80 main battle tank.
