Panther Ausf. A early Prod. Italy 1943/ 44 Premium

The first encounters with the T-34 in the USSR in 1941 were a shock to the invading German troops, who had until then been very successful with their tank forces.
Their answer was the Panther, which was first used in 1943.
It featured sloped armor, a powerful Maybach engine and a powerful 7.5cm gun- all in all, an impressive combination of firepower, mobility and survivability that proved a boon to the German forces and a problem for the Allies.
